Heather Butler Portraits

Based in Mid-Wales, Heather divides her time between her art and raising her 2 children (one of whom has a degenerative genetic condition).  She accepts pet portrait commissions, as well as exhibiting her work in galleries. 

Heather is an award winning Graphite Pencil animal portrait artist - both wildlife and pets.  She delights in minutiae and the pared-down nature of monochromatic images.  Heather has always had an affinity with animals, along with a concern for their habitats and the increasingly degraded environment.
